Children’s bedroom design for rest, study and play

Plan the room as connected zones

We consider how rest, study, play and storage can share the available footprint. The layout can make transitions between activities clearer while keeping frequently used items within reach.

• A sleep area with room for the family’s chosen bed or cot
• A study or reading place suited to the child and available light
• Open floor space and accessible storage for everyday play
• Storage planned around the room’s dimensions and household needs

Make the layout fit the home

Small rooms and shared bedrooms need careful use of circulation, storage and furniture placement. For siblings, the plan can balance shared areas with individual sleep, study or storage zones. Furniture choices can be revisited as the family’s needs change.

A safety-minded design approach

Safety is considered throughout the plan, including clear routes through the room, suitable furniture placement and finishes discussed for the specific project. Final material specifications and installation details are confirmed with the Kubeplay team before work proceeds.

From consultation to execution

The first conversation covers the room, your priorities and where the project is located. Kubeplay then develops the design brief and explains the next design steps. Design-and-build execution is focused on Delhi NCR; enquiries from elsewhere in India can confirm whether remote design support fits the project.
