Bespoke furniture & room planning
Kids’ beds, planned around their room
Choosing a kids' bed starts with the room and the child, rather than a theme alone. Kubeplay's bespoke furniture service considers sleeping furniture within the whole bedroom plan. No ready-to-order bed or toddler-bed model is currently listed here; ask the team to confirm the options for your brief.

Start with the footprint
Measure the room, door swing and routes around the bed before deciding on a mattress footprint. Think about where an adult can sit, how bedding will be changed and whether siblings need separate sleeping areas. A bespoke enquiry can bring these measurements together before specifications are agreed.
- Room and mattress measurements
- Door access and space around the bed
- Storage needs and how drawers will open
Toddler and Montessori-style floor beds
If you are exploring a toddler bed or a Montessori-style floor-bed layout, bring that preference to the consultation. Ask about the intended age, mattress fit, gaps, surrounding room and installation instructions for the proposed design. A low profile is a design preference, not proof that a bed is suitable for every child. No particular floor-bed model or certification is claimed here.
Agree the details before ordering
For a custom design, ask for the proposed dimensions, materials, finish, mattress inclusion and assembly scope in writing. Pricing, production timing and execution fit are confirmed for the project. Compare a ready-made bed's published specifications with a tailored proposal rather than assuming they provide the same service.
